REVIEW

It's a refreshing for me to be back to historical after some contemporary. And this one was quite good.
Until 60% Richard was a jerk and I wanted to slap his head for David's sake. And David, raised a valet by his Mother, can only accepted his position in Richard's life.
Or is it not?

It was understandable that being gay (or sodomite) in that era was a forbidden laissons, and cannot be exposed on that matter.
So, when the fire was on after 4,5 years of silence, Richard and David [finally declared their love to each other (of course, David always the first to say) (hide spoiler)].
But, there was some problems need to be solved before everything clear their way to a happy ending.

I didn't really care about the stupid problems they're involved. I only care about David's future, well, with Richard of course.
Actually, it was quite satisfying. Again, considering they're living in 1820. Ugh.

It was a good read, I picked the right book at the right time.
This is the book you need to read in silence, concentrate, and no one's to disturb.

He's awesome like that.
